Andreas Meyer gets 2009 Grammy Nomination "Best Historical Album"

Tangerine Mastering is proud to congratulate head mastering engineer Andreas K. Meyer for his 2009 Grammy Nomination in the category of Best Historical Album for his mastering work on the 4 CD set of OKeh And Vocalion Lester Young With Count Basie (1936-1940) Andreas K. Meyer has been working in the music industry as a Producer and Mastering Engineer to first tier musicians for over fifteen years.  

His credits span hundreds of releases over dozens of record labels and has acquired numerous Grammy Awards. After leaving Sony Music Studios NYC, Andreas helped establish Tangerine Mastering. His focus in the past years in Rock, R&B, and Modern Latin Jazz mastering has brought him to the forefront in the industry. As a composer, Meyer has been recognized by the Society of Composers, Inc. and the Society for Electroacoustic Music. He was also awarded the ASCAP Grant for Young Composers in 1994. It is through his compositional perspective and unique comfort with technology that he is able to transcribe
the artistic into a media for all to enjoy.
