The ANALOG LAB at Tangerine Mastering provides support services for studios: both tape baking and vinyl transcription.
The ANALOG LAB features a Fisher Scientific Commercial Laboratory Incubator and new restoration equipment from “Esoteric Sound.”. The Analog Lab will also have 1/4” and 1/2” formats of 2 track tape machines and a 17″ transcription turntable the “REK-O-KUT RONDINE 3″ with speeds from 16 RPM to 98RPM which will allow the handling of all disk transfer. The restoration rack includes the REK-O-KUT De-Hisser and the Re-equalizer II. The ANALOG LAB has a new mastering setup, powered by Tangerines second PYRAMIX system.

Tape baking is priced at $99 per reel, You can email to arrange drop off or for shipping information. If a tape ever needs to be re-baked you pay only $49 per reel. All shipping is by USPS priority at a flat rate of $20 per reel. All baking comes with a time/ temperature report. For best results tapes should be played only with-in 1 week. Any splices may have to be re-done before playing. Email for a quote on re-splicing and other restoration. Larger batches- please contact us.
